Jesse

Jesse is a 3 year old Sun Conure (possible hybrid) and typical of Sun Conures, he likes to make noise, lots of it. He is still very shy but also very sweet. He loves to hang from one toe and eat treats. Jesse is quickly learning how to eat a healthy diet and interact/socialize with everyone. He is quite comical and entertaining. Just remember these guys are very vocal and some consider them loud. It's just music to our ears.

Baby

Baby is a 7 year old Blue Front Amazon. He came in because of aggression issues. He is aggressive with some people so far but, seems to hold back with Cynthia. He is a bit shy except when it comes to talking. He calls his former familiy's dogs all day and jabbers in the cutest way. We will continue to work on socialization and learning to accept hands on attention.

He is eating everything in her bowl and has no problem trying new things.

Lexy

Lexy
is a (? age) Alexandrine, she shows much potential as a great companion and will take a little while to adjust to a new home but with some extra special attention and patience, she wil make some one very happy.

Cappy and Cracker (in order)

Cappy and Cracker are bonded and must stay together. Cappy is a sweetie and will step up. She loves attention. Cracker was found 17 years ago on a roof top, he will never grow those feathers back but we think he is most handsome without them. Both, Mommy and Daddy love to talk and have an extensive vocabulary. Cappy likes to blow kisses and tell you that you are beautiful. These guys are amazing and very funny.

The 'Tiel Flock

The last 8 beautiful Tiels will be going to their forever home with Carrie and family very soon.

These guys will be living in a beautiful large aviary with some of the tiels that were rescued last month. We are so happy to know that they will live out thier lives with the freedom and companionship that they deserve. Thank you Carrie!!!

Peachy and Juno

Peachy is a Peach Faced Lovebird and Juno is a Black Masked Lovebird , (? ages) these two have formed a true bond and must stay together, for Juno's sake more so than Peachy's. When Juno lost her best friend, she started plucking. When she got to us, she was close to fully bald. She has since stopped plucking and is almost fully feathered. She is still shy but Peachy loves attention and will fly to anyone and everyone's shoulder to find it. They do well together and apart but staying together forever is a must.

Possible Flockables
These feathers have just arrived, some are in quarantine/foster for the first few months of their Flock Haven experience. The feathers that are out of quarantine can be placed with the right people with either experience with troubled birds or willing to learn and be patient. These guys deserve a better life and we will do our all to ensure it happens for them.

Chippy (Hybrid Conure),
Chippy is the baby at 5 months old. He has been seperated from his parents and is doing amazing. He is eating extremely well and is learning to play and spend time on his own. We will keep them close to each other until he is ready to trust humans and enjoy contact. Cracker started plucking this little guy so, his feathers are just starting to grow back in.

Pocho (Paco)

Pocho, pronounced Paco is a 10 year old Blue Front Amazon, She came from a loving home that had some up coming changes in their lives and wanted to make sure she would be properly cared for. She has a small disability as her left wing was broken years ago and never healed right. She can not fly and barely moves that wing. I can say that it does not stop her from being a healthy and happy sweetheart. She will need someone special to take good care of her so we will hope to find a home that has experience with bird disabilities. If that perfect home does not come along, she will go along with us and the rest of the flock to our up coming aviary.

Chippy

PI

Pi is a White Capped Pionus, that came in recently and has just a few fear issues to deal with. In time he will definitely be a wonderfully well adjusted parrot. These guys are just a bit different than most Parrots and have some strange ways but they are wonderful companions as well.

Bo and Blue

Bo and Blue are Blue Indian Ringnecks. They are not tame and are very fearful of people. It may take some time and someone very special to gain the trust of these two but, it is possible and stranger things have happened.

Clarence

Clarence is an est. 8 year old Male Eclectus. He has some major issues with socialization but we have found that he is all beak and no bite. He is just extremely scared of people. He also has some plucking issues. He has been changed over to a healthy Ekkie diet and we are working diligently on earning his trust. Isn't he pretty?
